LENERD LOUW

MAKES BIG DECISIONS (AKA CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER)

Lenerd likes decisions so much he made at least 4 while you were reading this. That's why he's our CEO.

Lenerd has eighteen years local and international business leadership experience in the financial services industry, with an extensive track record in establishing new businesses, specifically in the direct insurance space.

Before he joined FRANK in 2008, Lenerd was the CEO of SA's first direct life insurer, after launching four other businesses for the group and holding various leadership positions.

Lenerd has a B.Com LLB with an M.Com in Business Administration.

PHILIP TOMLINSON

WATCHES THE MONEY (AKA CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER)

Phil crunches numbers like they're cereal. Phil likes cereal. Really complicated cereal.

Philip has over a decade of financial experience in theareas of individual life insurance, business reassurance and reinsurance.

Prior to joining FRANK, Philip was at Hannover Re Group Africa (a large re-assurance company) for eleven years, where he oversaw the development of the group life reinsurance, non-life reinsurance, direct insurance and strategic investment companies, with responsibility for Life Marketing.

Philip has a Bachelor of Economic Science degree and was admitted as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (in 2003).

CRAIG BAKER

MAKES THINGS HAPPEN (AKA CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER)

We wanted to add an "L" to the end of Craig's job title because it just seemed the right thing to do. But he is happy with C.O.O. It means he gets things done.

Craig has sixteen years experience in operations and distribution across the financial services sector as well as NGOs where he hasheld top management and director positions.

Prior to joining FRANK in May 2008, Craig headed up his own consulting business, Crath Consulting, where he worked on a number of NGO consulting contracts that included the World Bank and World Food Programme.

Before taking the entrepreneurial plunge, Craig worked for listed agricultural services company Afgri, Alexander Forbes, a broking and consulting company in the insurance and investment arena, and Coronation Asset Management, where he worked in sales management, operational management and customer relationship management.

Craig has a B.Com degree.

RINA MCKELLAR

MAKES FRANK LOOK GOOD (AKA MARKETING DIRECTOR)

Rina wants the whole world to meet FRANK and with her social network it's only a matter of time really. That's why she is our marketing director.

Rina McKellar brings over 12 years of product and marketing knowledge to FRANK.  Most of her experience was gained in the pharmaceutical industry where she was Senior Marketing Manager of the Consumer Healthcare Division at Merck for 4 years.

Rina also worked at Pfizer Laboratories for three years as aproduct manager, where she was selected as the innovation lead and became the first person in Africa to be inducted into the Pfizer Global Innovators Circle.

Prior to working in the pharmaceutical industry, Rina worked as a marketing manager in engineering and IT companies. 

Rina has a Masters Degree in Marketing from the University of North London, England.

STUART PORRILL

KEEPS THINGS RUNNING (AKA HEAD, BUSINESS & SYSTEM PROCESSES)

Stuart loves things to run smoothly, He thinks the Swiss Rail system could be a little more efficient. That's why he heads up our business and systems processes.

Stuart has 15 years experience in financial services in the areas of e-commerce, distribution technology, business systems management and financial administration.

Before he joined FRANK, Stuart was with Liberty and STANLIB for 7 years, most recently as divisional director of business architecture.Stuart also spent 6 years in London with Allianz Dresdner Asset management, as business systems manager prior to this.
